About the Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Director to oversee and lead our client service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key client accounts, cultivating strong relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic planning and exceptional client service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of account managers/executives to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed revenue targets and growth objectives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, fostering strong relationships and understanding client needs.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with the sales team to expand the client base.
Analyze account performance metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to internal stakeholders.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless client service delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for business expansion.

Requirements

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

    • Proven experience (10+ years) in an account management or sales role, with a track record of managing large client accounts and achieving revenue targets.

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team effectively.

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.

    • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative account plans.

    • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.

    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively.

    • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a leadership role within an advertising agency, marketing firm, or related industry.

    • Experience working with diverse clientele across various industries.

    • Certifications in account management, sales, or related fields.
